An overview of our products
Here you can find all our hydraulic earth drilling rigs and the appropriate accessories — clearly arranged for different areas of application and performance requirements.
Typical problems in civil engineering and the use of conventional earth drilling equipment
Conventional earth drilling rigs often pose unnecessary challenges in daily construction site operations. From faster wear due to transmission-related friction to high maintenance requirements and failures under load — many systems reach their limits when faced with demanding applications. These problems cost time, nerves and increase operating costs in the long term.
Regular inspections and repairs cost time and money.
Mechanical wear on gears and couplings leads to frequent failures.
Overheating and friction reduce drilling performance during long periods of use.
High noise levels and vibrations make precise work difficult and disturb the environment.
Hard floors or sudden loads can damage the transmission.
Maintenance, spare parts and downtime drive up project costs.
Uneven rotational movements make precise drilling difficult.
Dust, moisture, heat, or cold have a greater effect on mechanical systems.

Our earth drilling rigs solve the typical problems in civil engineering
In civil engineering, reliability, performance and minimal downtime count. Our earth drilling rigs are designed to meet exactly these challenges — with robust construction, high efficiency and a low-maintenance drive concept. In this way, they ensure a smooth process even under demanding operating conditions.

Our earth drilling rigs in use
Our earth drilling rigs prove their performance every day under real construction site conditions. In the following reference examples, customer reports show what challenges they faced, what goal they were pursuing and what results they achieved with our hydraulic earth drilling rigs.
Efficient drilling even with straight construction height

“Since we have been using the hydraulic MGF earth drilling rigs, we have had virtually no more unplanned service calls. This is an enormous advantage, especially on remote construction sites — we save time, money and nerves. ”
problem
A civil engineering company used a Sany 2.5t excavator. The resulting small construction height required the smallest possible drilling rig. There was also the problem that the previously used gearmotors had to be serviced frequently.
solution
The BG 260 can be used with a low installation height and yet delivers very powerful performance. By expanding with a gooseneck, even longer screws can be used and drilling can be carried out longer in one go.
upshot
With the BG 260, 3 m can be drilled in one go without having to couple screws. In addition, the system runs virtually maintenance-free and enables reliable use even at peak performance.
Maximum performance in hard rock soil

“Since we have been using the hydraulic MGF earth drilling rigs, we have had virtually no more unplanned service calls. This is an enormous advantage, especially on remote construction sites — we save time, money and nerves. ”
problem
A construction company had difficulty drilling in hard rock. Conventional gearmotors regularly overheated and failed. The various soils were particularly challenging, each of which had to use different techniques.
solution
A drilling rig that withstands high continuous loads, works reliably and significantly reduces downtime. So that the construction period can be met and there are no unnecessary additional costs. An earth drilling rig was required which can be used both with and without a wooden screw. Since MGF earth drilling rigs can be replaced quickly and easily with the flange adapter, you no longer have an annoying adapter problem, as with many other manufacturers.
upshot
With the MGF hydraulic earth drill rig, the company was able to reduce drilling time per hole by 35% and maintain operations for several days without interruption.
Precise drilling despite demanding conditions

“The low volume and precision of MGF earth drilling rigs has finally enabled us to obtain permits for longer working hours. For inner-city projects, this is a real game changer. ”
problem
Bernd Schmidt's construction company Schmidt-Bau GmbH worked in a densely populated inner city area where noise and vibrations were particularly critical. Traditional gearmotors caused heavy noises and restless drilling movements, which led to resident complaints and inaccurate drilling near sensitive lines.
solution
The search was for a quiet, low-vibration earth drilling rig that enables precise drilling and meets the city's strict requirements. At the same time, it should be able to operate reliably and without interruptions.
upshot
The hydraulic MGF earth drill significantly reduced noise and vibration and enabled more precise drilling results. As a result, the company obtained permits for longer working hours — even in the evening. The project was completed more quickly, while at the same time increasing the quality of execution.

Common questions
Here you will find answers to the most common questions about our hydraulic earth drilling rigs, areas of application and our service. Should you require any further information, we are always available in person.
Mechanical transmissions work with gears, which can wear out quickly under heavy load and require regular maintenance. Hydraulic motors, on the other hand, transfer power via pressure — with almost no mechanical abrasion. This results in higher reliability, fewer repairs and a significantly longer service life.
Since power is transmitted hydraulically, many parts that are susceptible to wear, such as gears or couplings, are omitted. Less friction means less wear and therefore significantly longer maintenance intervals. In everyday life, this results in lower costs and less downtime.
The motors have been developed for demanding applications in civil engineering and special civil engineering. This includes pile foundations, microtunneling, foundation work, drill piles, exploratory drilling and all applications that require high pulling power and reliability.
Thanks to the robust construction and hydraulic transmission, the motors achieve a lifetime of up to 40-70% longer than conventional mechanical systems (depending on the application profile). Many customers use the same motors continuously for years.
The earth drilling rigs use standard hydraulic oil as recommended by the manufacturer. No exotic or hard-to-obtain equipment is required. Regular monitoring of the oil level and filters is usually sufficient to ensure maximum performance.
Yes The earth drilling rigs are designed in such a way that they can be integrated into many existing drilling rigs. Thanks to standardized connections and modular design, replacement or retrofitting is easy in most cases.
